Rocket launch site

Corn Ranch , which serves as the take-off and landing site for the New Shepard suborbital spacecraft developed by Blue Origin , is 15 km from the town . The first unmanned test launch took place on November 13, 2006. On November 23, 2015, an altitude of more than 100 km was reached for the first time, thus crossing the Kármán line , the limit to space.
