Vanessa del Rio (born March 31, 1952 in Harlem , New York City , USA ; actually Anna Maria Sanchez ) is an American entrepreneur , model and former porn actress . She also performed under the name Ursula Pasarell .

Del Rio's parents are of Cuban or Puerto Rican origin. Del Rio began her porn career in 1974 in the film China Doll . The 1.68 m tall Latina with a lush figure (dimensions: 107DD – 79–107) was the first Hispanic porn star to make a name for herself first in the USA and later in Europe. In her 30 year career she has appeared in over 200 films. Del Rio became famous not least because of an anatomical anomaly: Her clitoris is unusually large, which has been discussed as a special feature in various films. The porn director Doris Wishman shot the film Come with me my love with her and Annie Sprinkle , which is now regarded as a classic of the 1970s porn cinema. She was active as an actress until 1987 when she ended her active career for fear of AIDS . Your last film was titled Dr. Lust .

After her departure as an active actress, Del Rio remained loyal to the profession as a producer . Today she runs a website on which she presents her younger colleagues. A book about the life of del Rio was published in 2007 by Taschen-Verlag under the title "Fifty Years of Slightly Slutty Behavior". The book includes a bonus DVD and comes with a lithograph by comic artist Robert Crumb .
