The Varínka in the municipality of Belá

The Varínka is a 24 km long right tributary of the Waag in Okres Žilina in Slovakia . It is part of the Danube basin .

The Varínka rises with several source streams in the Little Fatra (Tribeč) north of the Chleb (1646 m) at a source height of around 1300 m, initially flows briefly in a northerly direction through Terchová , where it takes in several streams coming from the northeast and east, and then turns here to the southwest, flows through Belá and Varín and flows below this community about 11 kilometers east of Žilina at an altitude of about 350 m into the Waag . The flow rate is 3.157 cubic meters per second.
