Vauchignon

Vauchignon is a village and a former French commune of last 45 inhabitants (2015) in the Côte-d'Or department in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté . It belonged to the Arrondissement of Beaune and the canton of Arnay-le-Duc .

The formerly independent municipality merged with Cormot-le-Grand in the newly created Commune nouvelle Cormot-Vauchignon with effect from January 1, 2017 . The administrative headquarters are located in Cormot-le-Grand. The former municipalities were not granted the status of a Commune déléguée !
