Cormot-le-Grand is a village and a former French commune with the last 155 inhabitants (2015) in the Côte-d'Or department in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté . It belonged to the Arrondissement of Beaune and the canton of Arnay-le-Duc .

The formerly independent municipality merged with Vauchignon in the newly created Commune nouvelle Cormot-Vauchignon with effect from January 1, 2017 . The administrative headquarters are located in Cormot-le-Grand. The former municipalities were not granted the status of a Commune déléguée .

Neighboring towns are Santosse in the north, Vauchignon in the northeast, La Rochepot in the east, Nolay in the south and Aubigny-la-Ronce in the west.
