Vector (gun maker)
Vektor is a South African industrial company that specializes in firearms production . In 1953, Vektor was founded as a subsidiary of LIW. In the course of the privatization of the South African state-owned company, it was assigned to the Denel group of companies in September 1997 together with LIW .
Products
Vektor manufactures military and police pistols, some of which are also used (partly tuned) in shooting sports. There is also a range of assault rifles based on the Soviet Kalashnikov system and machine guns to choose from. Vektor also produces automatic grenade launchers, mortars, and rifle and cannon barrels. In addition, Vektor also offers hunting weapons.
