Veli Küçük

Veli Kucuk , (* 9. May 1944 in the district Gölpazarı / Province Bilecik ) is a retired Turkish brigadier general and alleged founder of the gendarmerie - intelligence JİTEM .

Life

According to the investigation in the Ergenekon trial , he should be a member of that organization. During the trial, the prosecutor demanded life imprisonment against him six times. In 2016 it was proven that the organization does not exist.

Küçük is also associated with the Susurluk scandal and the so-called deep state in Turkey . He also appeared in a trial against journalist Hrant Dink .

The lawyer Alparslan Arslan , who carried out an attack on the State Council on May 17, 2006 and killed a judge of the Second Senate, is said to have close contacts with Veli Küçük, as photos show.
