At Planet Express on Earth, he is looking for shelter and advice. On Leela's suggestion that he should strive more to his relationship with Ndnd, he buys a new car and shrill, new clothes, undergoing plastic surgery and goes out at night. In a club he meets Grrrl, who looks like she comes from his planet. On a date, however, she turns out to be a disguised human woman who Lrrr saw at Comic-Con and fell in love with him. Lrrr rejects them.

Leela, Fry and Bender, along with the canned head of Orson Welles, forge television news reports that Lrrr conquered the earth. The broadcast is seen by chance by the troop commander Zapp Brannigan , who then surrenders with the armed forces of the earth Lrrr. When Lrrr wants to clear up the misunderstanding, Ndnd, who has also seen the broadcast, ends up in a spaceship. Impressed by her husband's supposed heroism, she feels drawn back to Lrrr. To keep the facade up, Lrrr actually subdues the earth and enslaves humanity.

The next morning Lrrr appears at Planet Express and cries himself out at Leela for not being able to confess the truth. Leela rebukes him and is caught by Ndnd. Grrrl, disguised as an Omicronian, also bursts into the scene and swears her love to Lrrr. It turns out that Ndnd is only jealous of Leela because she can order Lrrr around. Lrrr has to prove his love for Ndnd by shooting Leela. At the last second, Fry throws himself in front of the shot from his beam gun to save his beloved Leela. When hit, Fry's body dissolves. Satisfied with Lrrr's act, Ndnd takes him back. When the two departed, it turns out that Lrrr's weapon was not lethal, just a portable teleporter . Fry is found at Planet Express .
