The Vence is a river in France that runs in the Ardennes department in the Grand Est region .

The Vence rises in the municipality of Launois-sur-Vence , generally drains east to northeast and flows into the Meuse as a left tributary after 33 kilometers in the southern suburbs of Charleville-Mézières . Most of the course of the river, the Vence is accompanied by the A34 motorway and the parallel Reims - Rethel - Charleville-Mézières railway .
