Vera Gäde-Butzlaff (born December 15, 1954 in Bad Gandersheim ) is a German manager. From 2007 to 2014 she was chairwoman of the board of the Berliner Stadtreinigungsbetriebe (BSR) and from March 1, 2015 to February 2018 she was chairman of the board of GASAG AG . Chairwoman of the Vivantes Supervisory Board since April 2018 .

Life

After graduating from Heinrich-Nordhoff-Gymnasium in Wolfsburg , Gäde-Butzlaff studied law at the Free University of Berlin from 1973 to 1980 . In 1983 and 1984 she was a councilor for employment with the Senator for Interior in Berlin .

From 1985 to 1986 first trial judge , then until March 1994 Gäde-Butzlaff was a judge at the administrative court in Berlin, then from April 1994 to January 1998 presiding judge at the administrative court in Frankfurt an der Oder . Afterwards she was ministerial director from February 1998 to June 2001 , then from July 2001 to May 2002 State Secretary for Environment and Agriculture in the Ministry for Regional Planning, Agriculture and Environment of the State of Saxony-Anhalt .

In January 2003 she became a board member of the Berliner Stadtreinigungsbetriebe (BSR) with responsibility for waste logistics and waste disposal, and since 2004 also for street cleaning. Gäde-Butzlaff thus had overall responsibility for all operational services at BSR. From 2007 to 2014 she was chairman of the board of the Berliner Stadtreinigungsbetriebe (BSR). Since March 1, 2015, she has been CEO of GASAG AG as the successor to Stefan Grützmacher .

Gäde-Butzlaff is married to a teacher and has a daughter. She lives in Berlin.
