Vera Lwowski

Vera Lwowski born Caminneci (born August 10, 1923 at Dattenfeld Castle , today in Windeck ) is a German animal sculptor .

Life

Vera Caminneci studied sculpture at the Cologne Werkschulen under Wolfgang Wallner , portraits at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn under Ingeborg von Rath and wood carving under Otto Schörghofer in Siegburg .

In 1948 she married Wolfgang Lwowski , one of the sons of the Krupp manager Walter Lwowski .

She lived and worked in Dattenfeld until 1952, in Bonn from 1952 to 1973 , in Brussels from 1973 to 1983 and since then in Windeck.

Vera Lwowski is Oscar Caminneci's niece .

Lwowski's work includes naturalistic-impressionistic animal bronzes in individual and group representations, around 150 different objects are known.

Since 1946 she has had solo exhibitions as well as participations in group exhibitions and trade fairs at home and abroad. B. in Aachen, Bamberg, Bonn, Kiel, Düsseldorf, Bielefeld, St. Moritz (Switzerland), Lübeck, Munich, Kisslegg Castle in Allgäu, Frankfurt am Main, Cologne, St. Hubert (Ardennes), Hamburg, Brussels, Münster, Budapest, Springe Castle near Hanover, Worpswede, Antwerp, London, Nuremberg, Paris and Luxembourg.
