The multi-colored Inca lily ( Alstroemeria versicolor ) is a species of the Inca lily ( Alstroemeria ) in the family of the Inca lily plants (Alstroemeriaceae).

The differently colored Inca lily is a perennial herbaceous plant that reaches heights of 15 to 50 centimeters. It forms a rhizome and tuber roots. The leaves are not twisted, narrowly lanceolate to linear, pointed and measure 1.2 to 8 × 25 to 35 centimeters.
The inflorescence is usually two- to three-flowered (one to five-flowered) and contains two to three bracts . The hermaphrodite, zygomorphic flower is threefold. The outer tepals are about 3 centimeters long and yellow to brownish yellow in color.
The flowering period extends from June to July.
The number of chromosomes is 2n = 16.
Occurrence
The multi-colored Inca lily occurs in Chile in the range from 34 ° to 36 ° south latitude in stony river valleys at altitudes of 250 to 1700 meters.

The different colored Inca lily is rarely used as an ornamental plant in borders or as a cut flower. The underground parts of the plant are eaten raw or cooked; they contain a lot of strength.
