history

The self-produced album was recorded in the first few months of 2008 and mixed by Joe Barresi ( Tool , Queens of the Stone Age ) and mastered by George Marino . It sold very well by Enslaved's standards: 1,100 units were sold in the USA in the first week, twice as many as the previous Ruun .

reception

The album reached number 20 in Norway . The album was named album of the year in the British magazine Terrorizer . Allmusic awarded 4 out of 5 points. The band delivers another spectacle of imagination and quality control.
