Herbrand Larsen

Herbrand Larsen is a Norwegian keyboardist , singer and music producer . Larsen played in the bands Enslaved and Audrey Horne .

Career

Larsen has been a producer and sound engineer since the late 1990s . In 2002 he joined the band Audrey Horne as a keyboardist and succeeded Ivar Bjørnson, who wanted to take care of his band Enslaved. With Audrey Horne he recorded the debut album No Hay Banda in 2005 , which was awarded the Norwegian Spellemann Prize. Shortly before Audrey Horne wanted to record their second album Le Fol in 2007 , Larsen left the band. He can be heard as a guest musician on the other albums. In 2004 Larsen became a member of the Enslaved band, with whom he won the Spellemann Prize five times. In addition to the keyboards, Larsen also plays the Mellotron at Enslaved and can be heard as a background singer. In December 2016, Larsen left Enslaved to focus on his career as a producer.

As a producer and sound engineer, Herbrand Larsen worked alongside Audrey Horne and Enslaved with bands such as Aeternus , Gorgoroth , Helheim , I , Ov Hell , Syrach and Taake . He runs the Conclave & Earshot Studio in Bergen .
