United States Secretary of Defense
As Secretary of Defense ( SecDef , German "defense minister" ) is in the United States of the head of Defense of the United States (United States Department of Defense) referred. The office corresponds to what is referred to in most countries as Minister of Defense . As a precursor to the office of may War Minister (Secretary of War) are considered.
