Administrative community Mosbach

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In the agreed administrative community of Mosbach in the Neckar-Odenwald district in Baden-Württemberg , a city and three communities have come together to handle their administrative business. The seat of the agreed administrative community is in the large district town of Mosbach ( fulfilling municipality ).

Member municipalities

Members of this administrative community created by a public law agreement are:

  • Large district town Mosbach , 23,398 inhabitants, 62.23 km²
  • Elztal municipality , 5861 inhabitants, 46.63 km²
  • Community Neckarzimmern , 1512 inhabitants, 8.18 km²
  • Obrigheim municipality , 5307 inhabitants, 24.27 km²

Structure and tasks

A joint committee made up of representatives of the municipalities involved decides on the fulfillment tasks. The chairman of the joint committee is the mayor (Michael Jann) of the fulfilling community (Mosbach). The "agreed administrative community" is not itself legally competent , as it is not a corporation under public law and therefore also not a community association . The scope of the assigned tasks of the agreed administrative community determines § 61 of the Baden-Württemberg municipal code .
