Vestur-Húnavatnssýsla

The vestur-húnavatnssýsla is a district in the northwest of Iceland .

The district lies to the west of the Austur-Húnavatnssýsla and east of the Strandasýsla. The largest towns are Hvammstangi and Laugarbakki . In the south the district extends to the Mýrasýsla.

The Vestur-Húnavatnssýsla is in the constituency of Norðvesturkjördæmi .
