Vicente Carlos Kiaziku

Vicente Carlos Kiaziku OFMCap (born June 28, 1957 in Kimacaka-Bamba ) is an Angolan clergyman and bishop of Mbanza Congo .

Life

Vicente Carlos Kiaziku joined the religious order of the Capuchins , made his profession on September 28, 1975 and was ordained a priest on June 2, 1985 .

Pope Benedict XVI appointed him bishop of Mbanza Congo on January 5, 2009. He was ordained bishop by the auxiliary bishop in Luanda , Anastácio Cahango OFMCap, on March 8 of the same year; Co- consecrators were Giovanni Angelo Becciu , Apostolic Nuncio in Angola and São Tomé and Príncipe , and Filomeno do Nascimento Vieira Dias , Bishop of Cabinda .
