Vicente González Briseño
Vicente González Briseño (* in Guadalajara , Jalisco ; † November 8, 1990 ibid), also known by the nickname El Capulina , was a Mexican football player in the position of goalkeeper .
career
Capulina González began his career in 1948 at Club Deportivo Guadalajara . A year later, with Jaime Gómez , another goalkeeper was committed, who was soon able to prevail against González and became a regular goalkeeper. Therefore, González left the CD Guadalajara in 1951 and switched to league rivals Puebla FC .
On the last day of the 1951/52 season it came in the Parque El Mirador of Puebla to a duel between the host Puebla FC and the league leaders CD Guadalajara, who was preparing to win his first title in professional football. González played a key role in the Camoteros ' 1-0 win through some great saves, which meant that his previous club lost the Mexican Football League championship to León FC .
In the following season 1952/53 he won the Mexican Cup competition with Puebla FC .
