Victor Otto Stomps Prize
The City of Mainz's Victor Otto Stomps Prize has been awarded every two years since 1979 in memory of the publisher, writer and literary sponsor Victor Otto Stomps . This award honors quality and personal commitment in the small publishing scene.

Since 2009: main and sponsorship award
Since 2009, the city of Mainz has been awarding a main prize (endowed with 3,500 euros) and a sponsorship award (endowed with 1,500 euros). One-time (25x MMPM in the 50th year for the anniversary) a jury's favorite prize was awarded in 2019. The prizes will be awarded at the opening of the Mainz mini press fair .
