Victoria Pedretti (born March 23, 1995 in Pennsylvania ) is an American actress . She gained fame especially in 2018 for her role as Eleanor "Nell" Crain in the Netflix series Spuk in Hill House .

life and career

Victoria Pedretti was born in the US state of Pennsylvania in 1995 and attended Pennsbury High School in Fairless Hills , on the border with New Jersey . Her father Mike, who was active in the theater, trained her to be an actress at a young age and was active as such throughout her entire school days. She later began studying acting at the Carnegie Mellon School of Drama , which in turn is part of Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh . She graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting in 2017 . After appearing in short films in previous years, including Sole and Uncovering Eden in 2014, it was announced in September 2017 that she would be cast in the planned Netflix series Spuk in Hill House . In ten episodes of the series she mimes the character Eleanor "Nell" Crain , together with her twin brother Luke the youngest member of the Crain family. In 2019 she appeared as Leslie Van Houten , known as Lulu , in Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood . Furthermore, she appeared in all ten episodes of the second season of the Lifetime - or Netflix series You - You will love me in the female lead of Love Quinn .

In February 2019, Netflix confirmed a sequel to Haunted Hill House ; the second season was announced under the original title The Haunting of Bly Manor , is loosely based on the book The Turn of the Screw by Henry James and is scheduled to air in 2020. Pedretti is supposed to appear again and play the character Dani Clayton .
