Four Nations Tournament 2013
The 2013 four-nation tournament for national women's football teams (also known as the “Yongchuan Cup”) took place between January 12th and 16th in the Chinese city of Chongqing at the Chongqing Olympic Sports Center . With Canada only one team from the top 10 of the FIFA world rankings participated, with hosts China and Norway, however, two former tournament winners. The winner was the team from Norway, which was able to win the tournament for the second time since 2002. No player could score more than one goal. Canada had to compete without record national player Christine Sinclair because she was suspended.
