Four Nations Tournament October 2018
The October 2018 four-nation tournament for women's national football teams took place in the Chinese city of Yongchuan between October 4th and 8th . It was the second four-nation tournament of the year in the People's Republic after the tournament that took place in Foshan in January and was won by the hosts. The venue was the Yongchuan Sports Center. No team from the top 10 of the FIFA world rankings participated. The best-placed team were the hosts (15th place), Thailand (28th) and Finland (31st) took part for the third time, Portugal (33rd) for the first time. With the eighth tournament victory, the Chinese became record winners ahead of the USA, which won seven times.
