Four Nations Tournament October 2017
The October 2017 four-nation tournament for women's national football teams took place in the Chinese city of Yongchuan between October 19 and 23 . It is the second four-nation tournament of the year in the People's Republic after the tournament that took place in Foshan in January and was won by the hosts. The venue was the Yongchuan Sports Center. With Brazil (9th place) and North Korea (10th place), two teams from the top 10 of the FIFA world rankings took part. Brazil is the first CONMEBOL team to take part in the tournament in China and is also the first CONMEBOL winner. North Korea, winner of 2012, last participated in 2014 and the four-time participant Mexico in January 2016.
