Four Nations Tournament 2015

The 2015 four-nation tournament (“BaoAn Cup”) for women's national football teams took place between January 11th and 15th in the Chinese city ​​of Shenzhen . All games were played at the Shenzhen Bao'an Sports Center. With Canada, which took part for the fifth time, only one team from the top 10 of the FIFA world rankings took part, but with host China the defending champions. Mexico participated for the third time and South Korea for the fourth time. All four participants had qualified for the World Cup in Canada and used the tournament as preparation. The Canadian team won the tournament for the first time. The most valuable player (MVP) was awarded to Christine Sinclair from Canada , who was also the top scorer with three goals.
