Thần tượng âm nhạc: Vietnam Idol ( German : Music Icon: Vietnam Idol; also just Vietnam Idol ) is a Vietnamese casting show that was first broadcast on HTV in May 2007. However, since 2010 it has been broadcast via VTV . It is the Vietnamese version of the British program Pop Idol , which was produced by Simon Fuller and of which there are also separate versions in other countries, see the list of offshoots of Pop Idol .
concept
Usually a month or two before the first showing of the season on TV find the auditions instead. These are filmed and the jury selects the candidates who take part in the so-called theater rounds. There the candidates have to sing songs selected by the jury. Based on these appearances, additional candidates will be selected to perform in live shows in front of an audience. You can then vote for the individual candidates by phone or SMS. Whoever has the least votes has to leave the show.
First season (2007)
The first season of Vietnam Idol was produced and aired from May 23, 2007 to October 3, 2007. The jury consisted of Siu Black, Hà Dũng and Tuấn Khanh. The auditions took place in Can Tho (April 7, 2007), Hanoi (April 15, 2007), Danang (April 22, 2007) and Ho Chi Minh City (May 5, 2007). The theater rounds took place in Ho Chi Minh City. In the final on October 3, Phương Vy won with 53.44% of the vote.

The second season was produced and broadcast from September 3, 2008 through January 14, 2009. The auditions took place in Can Tho (July 23-24, 2008), Hanoi (July 29-31, 2008), Danang (August 5-8, 2008) and in Ho Chi Minh City (14- August 16, 2008). The theater rounds took place in Ho Chi Minh City again. Quốc Thiên won the final on January 14, 2009.

Third season (2010)
The third season was produced and aired from August 21, 2010 to December 25, 2010. The auditions and recalls took place in Hanoi (July 3 - 7, 2010), Danang (June 27 - 29), Can Tho (July 13 - 15) and in Ho Chi Minh City (June 21 - 25) July 2010). The auditions also took place in Tây Nguyên and in the northern region . Uyên Linh won the final on December 25, 2010.

The sixth season aired from April 5, 2015 to August 2, 2015. In the final, Nguyễn Trọng Hiếu , born in Bad Kissingen , won with 71.5% of the votes against competitor Nguyễn Bích Ngọc.

In the first season of 2007, the jury consisted of Siu Black, Tuấn Khanh and Hà Dũng. In the second season of 2008, she consisted of Siu Black, Hà Hoài Anh and Trần Mạnh Tuấn. In the third season of 2010, it consisted of Siu Black, Quốc Trung and Nguyễn Quang Dũng.
