Viktor Durasovic (born March 19, 1997 in Trondheim ) is a Norwegian tennis player . He has a Serbian origin.

Career

Viktor Durasovic achieved good results on the Junior Tour. He played at least once in all four Junior Grand Slam tournaments. In doubles he was in the semifinals of the US Open in 2014 . In singles, he reached the round of 16 at Wimbledon in 2015 . Overall, at the beginning of 2015, he achieved his best ranking in the youth ranking with 32nd place.

In the same year he played several tournaments on the third-rate ITF Future Tour of the professionals and was able to win his first two titles in singles and his first double title. He finished his first professional year in the Top 500. After a weaker year in 2016, he won two futures again in 2017 and ended the year with the highest place so far with 410th place. In 2018 he did not win a title, but was able to reach a quarter-finals for the first time on the higher endowed ATP Challenger Tour in Ningbo and also beat a top 100 player with Hubert Hurkacz . Durasovic started the year 2019 with his fifth future title in singles. After changing performances, he was able to move into his first Challenger final in Portorož in August . However , he lost in two sets against local heroes and seeding list leader Aljaž Bedene . In October he was able to move into the top 300 in the world rankings .

From 2014 Durasovic plays for the Norwegian Davis Cup team . Together with Casper Ruud , he forms a successful duo after Norway had no successful players for a long time. He has a record of 10:14 in 12 matches.
