Viktor Mrnustik

Viktor Mrnustik (born on October 21, 1902 in Vienna ; executed on January 7, 1943 there ) was an Austrian locksmith's assistant and resistance fighter against the Nazi regime . He was sentenced to death by the Nazi judiciary and executed with the guillotine in the Vienna Regional Court .

Life

Mrnustik was a functionary of the Communist Party of Austria . He was identified by the Gestapo in Vienna on July 5, 1941 , sentenced to death by the People's Court on October 1, 1942 for “preparing for high treason ” and executed in the Vienna Regional Court on January 7, 1943 . Mrnustik was buried in the shaft graves of group 40 (row 32 / grave 217) of the Vienna Central Cemetery.

His wife, Maria Mrnustik, was also arrested.
