Viktor Schobinger
Viktor Schobinger (born December 22, 1934 in Wädenswil ; legal domicile in Lucerne ) is a dialect writer who writes in Zurich German and writes publications on dialect, name and genealogy .
As the advertising manager of Zürcher Kantonalbank , he wrote a few books from 1973 on family coats of arms, Zurich place and family names and a guide for Winterthur and the surrounding area.
In 1975 and 1985, Schobinger published a Zurich-German translation of the preacher Solomon and in 1986 one of the St. Matthew Gospel ; In 2005 a translation of Solomon's Song of Songs was published and in 2007 one of the Frog Mouse War .
Since 1979 he has published a crime novel series of 24 books about the character of the police lieutenant Häiri Ääschme . Schobinger's other dialect novels are Kähelde · vil gschichte i äinere gschicht (1996) and the historical novel Di Grooss Revoluzioon , published in 2009 , which describes the years before and during the French Revolution from the perspective of an emigrated family from Zurich. Schobinger also wrote four volumes of short stories.
His first Zurich German short grammar appeared in 1984 , which was followed by a series of other popular linguistic publications on Zurich German - called "language books". His latest, three-volume work, züritüütschi wortfamilie , came out in 2011.
In 2017 he published the book Des Luzerner Apotheker Conrad Clauser Reise nach Tibet (1505). According to the oral tradition .
