Anders Viktor Wallin , also Vallin (* 17th January 1980 in Jönköping ) is a Swedish ice hockey defender , who since 2011 when HC Merano in the Italian Serie A2 is under contract.

Career

Viktor Wallin was selected in the fourth round of the 1998 NHL Entry Draft as the 112th player of the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim , for which he never played. Initially, the defender was under contract with HV71 from his Swedish hometown for three years in the Elitserien . After another year in the first Swedish ice hockey league at Timrå IK , Wallin moved to AIK Solna in 2002 , for whom he was on the ice for two years in the second-rate HockeyAllsvenskan . After another second division year at Nybro Vikings IF , Wallin moved to the French Ligue Magnus in 2005 , where he played for the top team Brûleurs de Loups de Grenoble for six years . During this period he and his team won the French championship title twice (2007 and 2009), the Coupe de France twice (2008 and 2009), the Trophée des Champions twice (2008 and 2009) and the Coupe de la Ligue three times (2007, 2009 and 2011).

For the 2011/12 season Wallin moved to HC Meran from the Italian A2 series.

International

With Sweden Wallin took part in the U20 Junior Ice Hockey World Championship in 1999 and 2000 and reached fourth and fifth place.
