Viktor von Frankenberg and Proschlitz

Viktor Günther Egbert von Frankenberg and Proschlitz (born July 19, 1873 in Berlin ; †  June 4, 1934 there ) was a Prussian surveyor .

Life

He comes from the old Silesian noble family Frankenberg and was the second son of the later lieutenant general Egbert von Frankenberg and Proschlitz (1841–1898) and his wife Anna, née Kolbe (1846–1907).

Viktor von Frankenberg and Proschlitz studied law in Paris and geodesy in Cape Town . From 1907 to 1912 he was district commissioner of Omaruru and then from 1913 to 1914 in the Caprivi Strip , after having been the civil district chief there since 2011 as the Imperial Resident of the Caprivi Strip in the northeast of the colony of German South West Africa .

Von Frankenberg and Proschlitz died in Berlin at the age of 61.

Viktor von Frankenberg had been married to Magarethe Agnes (born von Oppell ; 1879–1975) since 1900 , with whom he had a son (Egbert Werner Alexander).
