Vila Nova de Anços is a village and a municipality in Portugal .
history
The place received its first city rights at the beginning of the 14th century, which King D. Manuel I renewed on December 12, 1515. It was the seat of an independent district until the administrative reforms after the Liberal Revolution in 1822 and the subsequent Miguelistenkrieg in 1834. As a result, the district was dissolved in 1836, and since then Vila Nova de Anços has been a municipality of the Soure district.

Vila Nova de Anços has its own stop on the country's most important railway line, the Linha do Norte . However, only regional trains stop here.
