The Villa Bilstein , postal address Milsper Straße 175 , is a listed villa in the Ennepetal district of Altenvoerde . It was built in 1895.

description

The villa was designed by the Hagen architect Emil Eichelberg on behalf of the manufacturer August Bilstein . It is a two-storey brick building with a gently sloping slate hipped roof in the middle of a park-like property. The portico with a gravel driveway is on the north side, on the east side there is a side entrance with a glass and steel roof that has been preserved from the Wilhelminian era.

The building has numerous porches , dormers , gables and stucco ornaments . There are triangular or cornice canopies above the magnificently stucco-framed windows . There are central projections with different cantilevers on three sides of the building . The corners are decorated with corner pilasters with plastered ashlars, the horizontal structure is emphasized by a wide cornice with claws and a tooth-cut frieze as well as all-round kaff and belt cornices.

Outbuildings and garden

A stable building with octagonal turrets to the east of the villa, stylistically adapted to the main building, also belongs to the protection area .

The protected garden components also include the front garden , a south-facing rose garden with wooden pergolas , the richly decorated entrance gate and the largely preserved fence on the north side.
