Villa Rendena

Villa Rendena (German outdated: Randendorf ) is a place in the municipality of Porte di Rendena and was a northeast Italian municipality ( comune ) in Trentino in the Trentino-South Tyrol region until 2015 . The community belonged to the Comunità delle Giudicarie . Villa Rendena is located about 31.5 kilometers west of Trento on the Sarca , a source river of the Mincio, at an altitude of 608 mslm

On January 1, 2016, the municipalities of Villa Rendena, Vigo Rendena and Darè merged to form the new municipality of Porte di Rendena. On December 31, 2015, the municipality of Villa Rendena had 1002 inhabitants on an area of ​​34.96 km². The factions Javrè and Verdesina belonged to it. Neighboring communities were Breguzzo , Daone , Darè, Montagne , Pelugo , Preore , Tione di Trento and Vigo Rendena.
