Preore (in the Trentino dialect: Praór , German outdated: Porfür or Prauer ) is a fraction of the municipality ( comune ) Tre Ville and until 2015 was an independent municipality in the province of Trento , region of Trentino-South Tyrol . The community belonged to the valley community Comunità delle Giudicarie .
geography
Preore is located about 27.5 kilometers west of Trento on the Sarca at an altitude of 530 m slm on the orographic left side of the valley.
history
On January 1, 2016, the municipalities of Preore, Montagne and Ragoli merged to form the new municipality of Tre Ville. Neighboring communities were Bolbeno , Montagne, Ragoli, Tione di Trento , Villa Rendena and Zuclo .
