Vigo Rendena (German outdated: Vich im Randental ) is a fraction of the municipality ( comune ) Porte di Rendena and until 2015 was an independent municipality in Trentino in the autonomous region of Trentino-South Tyrol .
geography
Vigo Rendena is located about 30.5 kilometers west of Trento on the Sarca in Val Rendena in the Inner Judiciary at an altitude of 612 m. The neighboring communities were Darè, Pelugo and Villa Rendena .
history
On January 1, 2016, the municipalities of Vigo Rendena, Darè and Villa Rendena merged to form the new municipality of Porte di Rendena, which is part of the valley community Comunità delle Giudicarie .
