Vinícius Silva Lopes Souto (born January 29, 1988 ) is a Brazilian soccer player . The offensive midfielder and striker made it to the Allsvenskan with the Swedish club BK Häcken at the end of the second division season in 2008 .
Career
Lopes began his professional career at the Brazilian club Cruzeiro Belo Horizonte . At the beginning of 2008 he left his home country and switched to BK Häcken on loan to Sweden . With the club where he received the number "11", he competed in the second-class Superettan . In the course of the season, the offensive player was used in 24 games and contributed with five goals to reaching the second place in the table, which entitled to direct promotion to the Allsvenskan. However, he could not establish himself as a regular in the starting line-up and was mainly used as a substitute in his first season in the first division - he was only in the starting line-up in two of his 24 first division appearances. With three goals this season, he still helped the club to fifth place in the table. Then he first returned to Brazil, after an extension of his contract with Cruzeiro, the club extended the loan contract with BK Häcken for another year. At the end of the 2010 season he left the Gothenburg club with fellow countryman Paulinho .
Lopes joined South Korean club Gwangju FC in the K-League in early 2011 .
