Vincenzo Apicella (born January 22, 1947 in Naples ) is bishop of the Italian diocese of Velletri-Segni .

Life

The Cardinal Vicar of the Diocese of Rome and Archpriest of the Lateran Basilica , Ugo Cardinal Poletti , ordained him on March 25, 1972 . Pope John Paul II appointed him auxiliary bishop in Rome and titular bishop of Ierafi on July 19, 1996 .

The Cardinal Vicar of the Diocese of Rome and Archpriest of the Lateran Basilica, Camillo Cardinal Ruini , donated him episcopal ordination on September 14 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Cesare Nosiglia , Archbishop ad personam and Auxiliary Bishop in Rome, and Diego Natale Bona , Bishop of Saluzzo .

Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on January 28, 2006 Bishop of Velletri-Segni.
