Virgilio Pante
Virgilio Pante IMC (born March 16, 1946 in Lamon ) is an Italian clergyman and bishop of Maralal .
Life
Virgilio Pante joined the religious order of Consolata Missionaries and was ordained a priest on December 26, 1970 . Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Maralal on June 15, 2001.
The Cardinal Prefect of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples , Cardinal Jozef Tomko , ordained him episcopal on October 6th of the same year ; Co- consecrators were John Njenga , Archbishop of Mombasa , and Ambrogio Ravasi IMC, Bishop of Marsabit .
