Virginio Orsini (September 1572 - September 9, 1615 in Rome ) was the second Duke of Bracciano .

The son of the violent Paolo Giordano I and Isabella de 'Medici inherited the father's titles and possessions in 1585. Virginio was in the service of the Republic of Venice and later the Church. He received the Order of the Golden Fleece . His numerous children with Flavia Damasceni-Peretti made great careers and concluded advantageous marriages. The first-born Paolo Giordano II (1591-1646) married the ruling Princess of Piombino and achieved the rank of Imperial Prince of the Holy Roman Empire . Another son, Alessandro Orsini (1592–1626), achieved the dignity of cardinal and papal legate. His daughter Maria Felicia Orsini (1600–1666) was married to Duke Henry II of Montmorency .
