Vittorio Maria Costantini

Vittorio Maria Costantini OFMConv (born January 16, 1906 in Gubbio , † September 3, 2003 in Sessa Aurunca ) was an Italian Catholic clergyman and bishop of Sessa Aurunca .

Life

Vittorio Maria Costantini joined the religious order of the Minorites and was ordained a priest on July 7, 1929 . John XXIII appointed him Bishop of Sessa Aurunca on May 28, 1962.

The secretary of the Consistorial Congregation and archpriest of the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore , Carlo Cardinal Confalonieri , consecrated him bishop on July 8 of the same year; Co- consecrators were Raffaele Mario Radossi OFMConv, Archbishop of Spoleto , and Beniamino Ubaldi , Bishop of Gubbio .

He attended every session of the Second Vatican Council . Pope John Paul II accepted his age-related resignation on October 25, 1982.
