Vivani organic chocolate ( spelling without a hyphen) is a chocolate brand of Herford EcoFinia GmbH , a subsidiary of Ludwig Weinrich GmbH & Co. KG . Since it was presented at the BIOFACH food fair in 2000, Vivani has mainly been sold through organic supermarkets and organic shops , where it is the market leader in the chocolate bar sector .

Products

The Vivani range includes over 30 different bars of chocolate with flavors such as “Caramel Inka Salt”, “Fine Bitter Orange ” or “White Mango Cocos ”. Vivani also makes numerous other chocolate products. These include couvertures , chocolate bars , drinking chocolates and a nut-nougat cream .

Various Vivani products have received the "Gold" award from DLG quality control in the past . The “White Nougat Crisp” chocolate bar also received the “Viva Award” for the best vegan confectionery in England in 2014.

A special feature of Vivani products is their packaging design . For each chocolate, the Castrop-Rauxel artist Annette Wessel creates an abstract painting that is supposed to visually represent the chocolate aroma.

In early 2010, has EcoFinia GmbH in addition to the successful Vivani -products brand iChoc put on the market, which was directed with the slogan "It's Music" and a trendy design especially to young buyers. The products are also made in organic quality and were also available in regular stores as well as at kiosks and petrol stations. After the concept had not proven itself, vegan organic chocolate has been produced under the name iChoc since 2014 .

Manufacturing

Vivani organic chocolate consists entirely of organically grown ingredients that are strictly controlled in accordance with the EC organic regulation . The cocoa for the chocolate products comes from organic cooperatives in the Dominican Republic , Ecuador and Panama . Raw cane sugar and, more recently, coconut blossom sugar are mainly used as sweeteners .

Vivani chocolates are exported to over 50 countries worldwide. In addition to specialized organic stores, Vivani can also be obtained from various online shops . There is also a factory outlet in Herford, where, under the name Weinrichs Schokoladen Bruchbude, in addition to Vivani chocolate, other Weinrich articles, GEPA products and, above all, inexpensive broken chocolate as well as confectionery from other manufacturers are sold.
