About the little mole who wanted to know who hit his head is the title of a picture book that Werner Holzwarth (idea, text) and Wolf Erlbruch (illustrations) published in 1989 and which became an international bestseller.

The classic children's book has now been translated into 27 different languages ​​and had a worldwide circulation of 3 million by 2018. The story is also available as a pop-up and sound book, in Braille and as a puppet theater.
