In front of the Hardt is a location in the Wuppertal residential district of Beyenburg-Mitte in the Langerfeld-Beyenburg district .

The local situation is at 219 m above sea level. NHN on the street of the same name in the area of the mouth of the Hengstener Bach in the Beyenburger reservoir . Neighboring locations are Hengsten , the Beyenburger Freiheit , Steinhaus , Brückberg , Gangolfsberg , Mosblech and on the other side of the Wupperside in the Ennepetal area Fuhr , Ackersiepen and Schemm .
history
In 1815/16 seven people lived in the village. In 1832, Vor der Hardt was part of the Walbrecken Honschaft , which now belonged to the Lüttringhausen mayor . According to the statistics and topography of the Düsseldorf administrative district , the place called a day laborer's apartment had a residential building at the time. At that time, 16 residents lived in the place, eight Catholic and eight Protestant faith.
On the Prussian first recording from 1843, the place is recorded as An der Hardt . In the municipality lexicon for the province of Rhineland from 1888 a house with 15 inhabitants is given.
