Vukašin Radomir Poleksić (born August 30, 1982 in Nikšić , SFR Yugoslavia , now Montenegro ) is a former Montenegrin football player . He played in the position of goalkeeper.
Career
society
Poleksić began playing football at FK Sutjeska Nikšić , where he got his first professional contract in 2000 after training as a goalkeeper. After two years and 56 league games, he was loaned to the US Lecce in Italy for a year . After he did not appear in the league during his loan period, he moved permanently to the Italians in 2003 and played eight games there until 2005. In 2005 he came back to FK Sutjeska Nikšić. His first stop was FK Sutjeska Nikšić , a club from Montenegro. In 2002 he joined initially on loan to Italy for US Lecce ; In 2003 he was given a permanent contract. During his time in Italy he made eight games for Lecce. In February 2006 he moved to FC Tatabánya , where he played until 2008. In 2008 he went to Hungary for Debreceni Vasutas SC .
In 2010 he was banned by UEFA for two years on account of contacts with a criminal organization and suspected manipulation of two Champions League games in the 2009/10 season . He was also fined 10,000 euros. He was accused of two phone calls with a criminal group known as the "betting mafia" before the games against Liverpool .
He stayed under contract with Debreceni Vasutas SC until 2014. In 2014 he was awarded to Kecskeméti TE for 10 games . In the summer of 2014 he moved to Pécsi Mecsek FC , where he was awarded a one-year contract and played 18 games that year.
In summer 2015 he went back to FK Sutjeska Nikšić, but only stayed there until February 2016 before moving to Békéscsaba Előre for a year . After just five months and 13 games, he went on loan to Vasas Budapest . After the loan contract expired, he returned to Békéscsaba Előre, but his expiring contract was not extended.
National team
On May 8, 2002, he played his only international match for the then Yugoslav national team . The opponent was Ecuador . From 2007 to 2017 he was a member of the Montenegrin national team . He made his debut in the national team's first game against Hungary . He played a total of 37 games for Montenegro.
