Vule Avdalović ( Serbian - Cyrillic Вуле Андаловић ; born November 24, 1981 in Gacko ) is a Serbian basketball player .

Career

Avdalović made his professional debut in the 1998/1999 season at Partizan Belgrade , where he played until the end of the 2004/2005 season. With Belgrade he won the Yugoslav Championship and the Cup in 2002 and the Serbian Championship in 2003, 2004 and 2005. In the summer of 2005 he went to Spain, where he was under contract with Pamesa Valencia for four years . For the 2009/2010 season he moved within the Spanish league to Lucentum Alicante , the following year he played for Cholet Basket in France and won the French Super Cup 2011. Last season he played under head coach Saša Obradović at BC Donetsk in Ukraine which he became Ukrainian champion in 2012. In Donetsk he collected an average of 11.4 points, 3.6 assists and 2.8 rebounds in 14 games in the Eurocup . In 49 games in the Ukrainian league, he averaged 11.4 points, 4.2 assists and 3.4 rebounds.

For the 2012/2013 season, the 30-year-old Serbian guard will receive a one-year contract plus an option for another season at ALBA Berlin. In the first round of the 2012/2013 Euroleague season at the home game against Unicaja Málaga in December 2012, Vule Avdalovic twisted his left knee and tore a cruciate ligament and ankle ligament. Due to the injury Avdalović was out until the end of the season and did not play another game for Alba Berlin this season.

Avdalović took part in the U20 European Championship in 2000 as well as in the Men's European Championship in 2003, the Olympic Games in 2004 and the World Championships in 2006.
