Vyatka Russian Вятка was a Soviet scooter brand from 1955 to 1969 that manufactured and sold the Vyatka VP 150 scooter, a replica of a Vespa , without a license. The Soviet machine factory in Vyatskije Polyany (ВПМЗ) was located in the Kirov district , which was called Vyatka until 1934. After the Second World War , consumer goods were increasingly produced by ВПМЗ. For the first time, parts for motorcycles were manufactured in 1955 with saddles and air filters. This year, the Russian government abroad bought a Vespa 150 GS and a Goggoroller with 150 cm³ with the aim of copying them.

The Goggoroller went into production in Tula , the Vespa was copied by ВПМЗ. Series production of the Vyatka VP 150 scooter began in 1956. In 1958, a freight scooter based on the Vyatka VP 150 was also produced. Overall, the Viatka VP 150 was manufactured until 1965. So much longer than the original Vespa GS 150, whose successor in 1962 was the Vespa GS 160 .
