Vytas Nagisetty

Vytas Nagisetty (born March 8, 1971 in Mumbai , India ) is an American musician and composer .

biography

Vytas Nagisetty was born to a Lithuanian physicist and an Indian mathematician. He grew up in Toledo , Ohio . He learned to play the trumpet at the age of five . Other instruments such as guitar , piano and flute followed . After high school, he studied French and music at the University of California, Berkeley . During his music studies he mainly focused on composition , jazz and classical music . At the same time, he studied the double bass with Steve Tramontozzi , a member of the San Francisco Symphony . During a trip to France in 1993 he was given the opportunity to compose the music for the film Godard disait que .. directed by Morgan J. Freeman . He also composed the music for his films Boom and Desert Blue for him .
