Vytenis Junevičius

Vytenis Junevičius (born July 28, 1958 in Kaunas ) is a Lithuanian manager, former diplomat and politician , Vice Minister of Economy.

Life

After graduating from high school from 1965 to 1976 at the 12th secondary school in Kaunas, Vytenis Junevičius completed a degree in engineering from 1976 to 1981 at the Kauno politechnikos institutas (KPI) and from 1987 to 1989 an apprenticeship at KPI. From 1982 to 1984 he was an engineer in the “Vilma” research sector. From 1984 to 1987 he was assistant, senior assistant, from 1990 senior teacher at KPI, from 1994 to 1996 at KTU. From 1991 he worked as a diplomat in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania . From 1992 to 1994 he was an advisor to the Lithuanian diplomatic mission to the EU .

From 1995 to 1997 he headed the financial broker company UAB “Obligacija” as director and from 1997 to 1998 the privatization department at the Lithuanian Ministry of Europe . From 1998 to 1999 he was advisor to the World Bank and from 1999 to 2001 Deputy Minister of Economy of Lithuania. From 2001 to 2002 he headed the company UAB “Laitenis” as director, from 2002 the textile company Kauno audiniai as chairman of the board and from 2004 the engineering company UAB “Agava” as general director.

Vytenis Junevičius is married. His wife is Dalia.
