The Wälzbach , also called Walzbach on the upper reaches , is a left and eastern tributary of the Reichenbach in the Hessian Main-Kinzig district, almost two kilometers long .

The Wälzbach rises in the southern Vogelsberg at an altitude of about 397  m above sea level. NHN in a meadow east of Birstein - Unterreichenbach at the western foot of the wooded apple mountain . It initially flows in a westerly direction through the meadow corridor in the valley and is then reinforced by a meadow brook a good kilometer down the stream in the Fremeswiesen corridor on its right side. It then runs, partly underground, through the Birstein district of Unterreichenbach and finally flows out at an altitude of around 307  m above sea level. NHN from the left into the Reichenbach .
